What is your TCREW Story? I joined TCREW three years ago under the advice of Jenn Bosser. She encouraged me not only to join but to get involved right away. I first joined the membership committee and then transitioned to do nominations for the Champion Awards and now serve as the Special Events Chair on the Board of TCREW!
What is your most significant TCREW connection? How has your TCREW membership been impactful in your own personal growth and development? Being involved on the Champion Awards committee has been amazing to get a front row seat at the transformational projects and people shaping the Triangle. I’ve met so many people and forged meaningful connections, but most importantly having firsthand knowledge of real estate transactions has improved my interactions with clients because I am more informed.
How do you see TCREW impacting the Triangle? At the heart of EVERY commercial real estate transaction in the Triangle is one or many TCREW members. We are transforming the triangle with every partnership, business deal, and connection made.
How can we, as women in the commercial real estate industry, best make an impact in mentoring the next generation of women in CRE? There are so many facets of commercial real estate that I am only just learning about. We have to share that knowledge earlier in someone’s career exploration.
What is one goal you would like to achieve through TCREW? Making more business connections and friends!!
What is the best leadership advice you have been given or can give to others? The best leadership advice I’ve been given is, you aren’t invited to the table to be quiet, so if you get invited, say something. This has grown my confidence tremendously.
