TCREW Professional Development: Cultivate the Life you Want by Prioritizing and Amplifying Your Voice
Join us for TCREW’s first professional development program. Hear from productivity specialist Emily Parks and communications expert Sharon Delaney McCloud to help you Amplify your Life and achieve your goals. You’ll learn tips on how to organize and prioritize your to do list to best cultivate the life you want to live. You’ll also gain insight on how to amplify your voice figuratively and literally so your voice is heard.
Emily Parks will kick off the program with Tools to Better Achieve your Goals Amidst Life’s Hectivity – a 75 minute program with Q&A to follow. You’ll take part in interactive exercises and gain tangible takeaways to help your prioritize your never-ending to-do list.
- Life is full of demands, juggling priorities for work, home, friends and family, community involvement, pets, self-care for mind, body and spirt as well as keeping on track for the long-term goals we’ve set. It often feels as if there are simply not enough hours in the day to get done what matters most. However, when we shift our focus from balancing all those demands to an emphasis on work-life integration, it makes possible cultivating the lives we truly want to be living. By attending this program, you’ll get the tools needed for achieving harmony between all of life's demands so that you are in control of making the best choices with your time, allowing you to achieve your priority goals.
Sharon Delaney McCloud will lead the second half of the program: Amplify Your Communications to Increase Your Impact. During the hour-long program, learn how to amplify your voice and improve your messaging tactics.
- In group settings, men are 75% more likely to speak up than women. And when a woman does speak up, it's statistically probable that her male counterparts will either interrupt her or speak over her. What does this mean? It means, even in the professional world today, if you're not ready to fight to be heard, the silence will kill you. In this engaging, actionable session, Sharon will share strategies and tactics to amplify your voice figuratively (and literally) and hone your message to make certain that your voice is heard - so that you truly have a voice, and not just a seat, at the table.
