We are excited to congratulate Maggie Kroening from NC State; Jennifer Seaver from NC State; and Haley Hanks, an undergrad at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, for being awarded a CREW Network Foundation scholarship. The scholarship program supports female students as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate. Each year, Triangle CREW members participate by donating to the Foundation and promoting the scholarship opportunity to local colleges and universities.
Overall, forty female college and university students will receive a total of $275,000 USD (or the Canadian dollar equivalent) in scholarships from the CREW Foundation for the 2024-25 academic year, in addition to valuable network and career building opportunities.
The scholarship program supports female students as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate. The selected undergraduate students (25) will receive $5,000 USD (or the Canadian dollar equivalent) for tuition and books, and graduate students (15) will receive $10,000.
The students will also receive a six-month mentorship with a CREW Visionary, a 24-month CREW Network student membership, a complimentary registration to the 2024 CREW Network Convention, Sept. 25-27 in Vancouver, British Columbia, a $1,000 travel stipend for the convention, and a paid summer internship opportunity. Maggie, Jennifer and Haley will also be given a two-year membership in Triangle CREW.
The CREW Network Foundation scholarship program has granted nearly $1.9 million to 296 female students at 139 universities across 39 states/provinces in the U.S. and Canada since 2008.
